INTRODUCTION

The Rushlight Awards 2010 are now open for entries.  The closing date for entries is 31 October 2010 and the Gala Awards Dinner will follow on 27 January 2011 at Church House Westminster, London.

 

The Rushlight Awards are a celebration and promotion of the leading organizations throughout UK and Ireland which have furthered environmental technology and innovation in the fields of:

      ·         renewable energy

·         clean fuels

·         power generation

·         energy efficiency

·         “green” products and services

·         water

·         waste

·         resource minimisation

·         environmental management

·         environmental monitoring and analysis.

If you have developed a technology or introduced any form of innovation associated with cleantech, then there will be at least one of the 24 direct entry categories which will be suitable for you to promote your achievements. 

 

 

 

 

 

These awards can be used:

·         to have your technological achievements recognised by a leading independent judging panel

·         to market your product

·         to celebrate and thank the team who have developed a technology or solution

·         to promote your brand as an environmentally responsible society member

·         to publicise the innovation so that others may adopt something similar

·         to launch a new initiative

·         to celebrate a particular achievement with a client

·         to access new sources of funding and other support

·         to open your business to new market opportunities.

The awards are accredited by the RSA and so the winners of the group categories will be eligible to go forward to represent the UK or Ireland in the European Business Awards for the Environment.

 

We have also brought togehter for the first time a package of further benefits for the winners of the awards categories.

The awards are wholly independent, both in the form of the judging and also in the context of not being connected with any particular journal or publication. Every organization has a fair chance to win a coveted award which will be widely publicized. Indeed, all entries are invited to be included as a one-page promotion at no cost in a complete book of entries after the event.
