Rushlight Awards Gala Dinner 

The black tie Rushlight Awards 2011 Gala Dinner will be held on Wednesday 1 February 2012 at Church House, Westminster in London, following a full day at the Rushlight Clean Technologies Show at the Central Hall Westmninster which is across the road.

Bryony Worthington

 
Bryony Worthington has been actively campaigning for action to tackle climate change in a variety of different roles over the last decade. Ms Worthington worked for Friends of the Earth, where she set up their highly successful 'Big Ask' campaign and was the author of the first report to introduce and champion the concept of Carbon Budgeting. She then went to work in Government where she became a key member of the team that drafted the Climate Change Bill and also helped to set up the Government's first public awareness campaign on the subject of climate change. She has also acted as an advisor to Scottish and Southern Energy where she helped to develop numerous new policy positions. She has a thorough understanding of climate change policy and is an expert in carbon accounting, emissions trading and low carbon energy policy. In 2008 Ms Worthington set up Sandbag - a not-for-profit organisation focused on raising awareness about emissions trading and lobbying to improve its effectiveness.

 

Alex Crow

 
Alex Crow served for 15yrs in the Metropolitan police in London and then left to pursue his wild dreams of performing for a living.  After years of studying body language, NLP, Psychology and with a healthy dose of intuition and many other techniques, Alex is now regarded as one of the top mindreaders in the UK.  He starred in the ITV series "Astounding Celebrities" where amongst others, he was seen "freaking out" Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield, BBC's The Apprentice where he worked out what Sir Alan Sugar was thinking and was seen recently on CBBC performing in "The Slammer"!
